Amber Heard ‘in talks’ to write revealing book after losing defamation trial against ex Johnny Depp

Amber Heard is reportedly “in talks” to write an all-inclusive book following her loss in court earlier this month against ex-husband Johnny Depp in his multi-million libel trial.

The 36-year-old actress is “very excited” about the potential new work, sources tell OK! Heard magazine has “nothing to lose” now that the highly publicized dispute proceedings are over.

Depp was awarded $10.35 million in damages after a jury found Heard defamed Depp on all counts following a nearly seven-week trial in Virginia amid allegations of domestic violence and sexual assault. Heard lost the defamation case, but received $2 million in her countersuit as jurors found Depp defamed her through her attorney.

When asked about the possible volume of “revenge”, Heard’s rep told Fox News Digital, “We don’t have a comment to share on that.”

A source told the publication: “Amber considers her Hollywood career over. She is already in talks and is excited about it. At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to spill the beans.”

Potential lawsuits could be filed if Heard decided to write anything, author and attorney Dror Bikel told the magazine.

“Depp and his lawyers will be reading and listening to everything Heard says,” said Bikel. “If she crosses the line, which is likely, there is no doubt that she will be hit with another libel suit and end up back in court.”

Just a few days ago, Heard was seen shopping at a TJ Maxx discount retail store in the Hamptons amid an impending $8.3 million judgment.

The 36-year-old actress wore jeans and a white, long-sleeved shirt as she had retail therapy with her younger sister, Whitney Henriquez, at the national retail chain’s Bridgehampton store, for TMZ. According to the store, it’s unclear what the two bought – if anything – from the store.

AMBER HEARD SAYS THERAPIST’S NOTES PROVE JOHNNY DEPP ABUSED HER

As Heard roamed the East Coast hallways wearing black loafers with her blonde hair pulled back in a bun, Depp “moved on” from the trial and took the stage to perform with Jeff Beck at the Helsinki Blues Festival on Sunday in Finland.

Depp looked comfortable on stage wearing a black vest over a long shirt with sleeves rolled up above his elbows to show off his tattoos while playing guitar.

He will soon release a joint album with his musical partner, Beck, as the actor “is not talking about the trial anymore” and “just wants his career back”.

“The trial was necessary, but he’s glad it’s over,” a source told People. “While he’s relieved by the jury’s verdict, he’s not bragging about it.”

Heard said during a recent interview with Savannah Guthrie on “Dateline” that she was “terrified” that Depp would find a way to sue her again.

“I think that’s what a defamation suit is supposed to do, is to take away your voice,” she said.

O Star of “Pirates of the Caribbean” initially sought a $50 million payout in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that she wrote that did not specifically name him but discussed her experiences with domestic abuse at the hands of an ex-partner. Heard counter sued for $100 million in damages.

Last week, Heard denied being “cut” from “Aquaman 2” and called the recast claims “slightly insane” after reports surfaced that she was out of the Warner Bros. film.

“The rumors continue as they were from day one – inaccurate, insensitive and a little insane,” Heard’s rep told Fox News Digital.

Heard played Mera in the film, working alongside Jason Momoa, Dolph Lundgren, Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe. the second movie, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, is scheduled to be released in 2023.

She announced on Instagram in July 2021 that she had secretly welcomed a baby girl named Oonagh Paige Heard through a surrogate and said she will be “the mother and father” of her daughter.
