Dorinda Medley criticizes Vicki Gunvalson for insulting her home on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip

They are publicly feuding ahead of the release of the second season of Peacock’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

And Dorinda Medley delved deeper into her issues with her co-star Vicki Gunvalson during a conversation with DailyMailTV senior correspondent Alicia Quarles on Wednesday.

The 57-year-old Real Housewives Of New York City star applauded Vicki, 60, for criticizing her country estate Blue Stone Manor, where the women were filmed for the upcoming reality spin-off.

After Alicia talked about her issues with Vicki, Dorinda clarified: ‘I didn’t start.’

The reality star, who previously blasted her co-star by complaining on SiriusXM that people who ‘don’t have good taste’ can’t ‘understand taste’, would not tolerate any insult to her beloved Berkshires estate.

Vicki said she was ‘bored [her] mind’ while staying at the ‘old’ house for over a week to film the reality show.

“I think you need to be careful opening Pandora’s box, and you can’t be insulting Bluestone Manor,” she said, adding, “How can you not clap back?”

Earlier this week, Vicki accused Dorinda of being an ‘absolute liar’ after she claimed she was ignoring ‘hundreds and hundreds of texts’ from Vicki.

‘I don’t have time to send 100 messages to anyone. Make no mistake @dorindamedley,’ Gunvalson stated in an Instagram comment.

“I have all the messages and there are NOT 100. Go ahead girl,” she added in a separate comment.

Dorinda previously dismissed her colleague’s complaints about shooting on the property.

“Well, listen, this is a girl who finds it fun to dance on dirty tables in a bar in Puerto Vallarta, whatever that place is called,” she said.

Elsewhere in her interview with DailyMailTV, Dorinda noted how much more involved the shooting at Blue Stone Manor was than in the previous season of her main series, which is being completely revamped.

‘When U.S [filmed for] Bravo, they show up the day before, you know, turn on the camera lights. Four or five cameramen will come in,” she explained. “This started a week ago. We had drone stations and command stations and chamber pots.

She added that it was ‘nervous’ to have the other real housewives in her house for more than a week.

“I don’t think I quite understand what it’s like to host eight or seven women for eight days,” she shared, as the women, who hail from various Real Housewives franchises, were initially only going to stay four days.

“Once you go through those gates and up the hill, you’re locked in,” she said, explaining that isolation inspired her producers. ‘They’re like, ‘Why would we leave this place where we can film these girls morning, noon and night?’

Big investment: 'I don't think I understood very, very well what it's like to host eight or seven women for what turned out to be eight days,' she shared

Dorinda noted that she made unexpected friendships with Phaedra Parks and Eva Marcille, both stars of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

She concluded the interview cheerfully by promising that longtime Housewives fans can look forward to much of what initially drew them to the franchises in the spinoff’s new season, describing it as ‘old school housewives’.
