Out of nowhere, Drake showed up for the summer. On Thursday (June 16), the OVO boss announced his new solo album, honestly it doesn’t matter. Champagne Papi’s latest LP comes after speculation emerged last week that he was releasing a new mixtape. There was credibility to the conversation, with Drizzy releasing the No. 7 album, less than a year after dropping his 10th project to the top of the Billboard 200 charts, Certified Lover Boy.
Leaving without a lead single, the new offering is produced by his longtime collaborator Noah “40” Shebib and features a cameo by 21 Savage.
The new album comes a few months after it was reported that Drake had signed a new record deal worth over $400 million. The new album will likely be followed by a big summer tour for the “Way 2 Sexy” rapper.
Kevin Gates finally releases his third album, Khaza, after a heavy release that has been going on for months. The Louisiana native promoted the album in every way, including releasing a line of new products and spitting out a freestyle called “Super General” over Kodak Black’s “Super Gremlin” which raised eyebrows all over the place due to its sexually charged content. explicit naming Beyoncé, Ruby Rose and others.
With Gates tackling a number of very personal topics throughout the 19-track LP, the former XXL Freshman shows how much his bars have evolved while staying true to the sound he’s become known for.

In support of huntGates is gearing up for a long tour that will run from August to October.
Logic comes with their new album, vinyl days, as he is about to embark on a 28-date tour with Wiz Khalifa, which begins in July. The 30-track album is packed with guest appearances from top artists like Action Bronson, Royce 5’9”, The Game, RZA and more.
Before the release of vinyl days, Logic actually released a total of six songs that are featured on the album, including “Decades”, “Tetris”, “Therapy Music” with Russ, “Orville” with Blu and Exile, “Bleed It”, “Breath Control” with Wiz Khalifa and the album’s title track, “Vinyl Days”, featuring DJ Premier. The aforementioned title track actually sparked some controversy earlier this week. It was speculated that Logic snapped some photos of Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Reason on the track. The rhymer “1-800-273-8255” dispelled the rumor by taking to Twitter to address the situation and also suggest that the two MCs team up sometime for a sweet summer snack.
“Hey brother, @reasonTDEmy boy @thisisrory Said you thought I cursed you in my song, ‘Vinyl Days,'” Logic wrote. “If I were going to curse you, I would curse you. I love you, you are my brother. Let’s have ice cream together sometime.”
On the same day, he was announced as a member of 2022 XXL Freshman Class, SoFaygo left its new B4PINK EP to satiate all your fans who have been waiting for new music for a minute. While the five-track project contains no guest appearances, production credits include Bakkwoods, Bryce, Y2 and ColdXsummer.
While promoting the new project on social media, SoFaygo made sure to let his Instagram followers know that, true to his name, B4PINK serves as a little teaser for their long-awaited full album pink heartthat the newly anointed XXL Freshman promises to release soon.
“Releasing this EP to give you music while you wait for the album,” wrote Faygo. “I love you guys and I promise the album will come very soon.”
