Making amends: Justin Timberlake, 41, apologized Wednesday in an Insta Stories video for his below-average version of DC’s Beat Ya Feet dance during a performance in the capital on Saturday

The pop star was dressed casually in the clip in a plain white T-shirt, navy blue sweatpants and a luxury silver wristwatch, along with silver chains and diamonds dangling from his neck.

‘I had a long talk with them both individually,’ he said of his underperforming feet as he warned them, ‘Don’t ever do that to me again.’

Timberlake added jokingly, “Maybe it was the khakis. It was a real khaki vibe.

He concluded with a promise to ‘make it up’ to his fans. ‘I’m going to focus on these two guys here and hit them. Love you all.’

The Social Network actor also reposted some fan videos of people trying to replicate or even improve on his terrible moves.

Justin appeared to have filmed his funny apology video in Paris, France, where he was seen spending time with his wife Jessica Biel, 40, on Wednesday.

The Rock Your Body singer covered his shirt with a navy blue blazer with short lapels and added sunglasses, but kept the same outfit.

Jessica highlighted her fit figure with a short, cream-colored long-sleeved top that showed off a bit of her washboard abs.

She also wore a cool set of high-waisted beige pants with a weird highlighted strap above her waist and baggy legs.

She complemented the look with white platform sneakers and wore a small crimson crossbody bag.

His long dark locks parted in the middle and rested delicately across his chest, framing his elegant round-framed sunglasses.

Justin got into trouble with dance connoisseurs after his performance at DC’s Something in the Water Festival Saturday night.

He tried to replicate the city’s popular Beat Ya Feet dance, which has been a common step in the capital for more than two decades.

But after the dance break video hit social media, Timberlake was criticized by users for his poor performance, with one person joking that his dance was closer to ‘hokey pokey’ than Beat Ya Feet.

A fan who had a privileged spot at the DC festival shared a video of Justin dancing on TikTok on Sunday, captioned ‘CANT BELIEVE I SAW JT’, with a crying emoji.

‘DC, get your beat!’ Timberlake appears to scream in the clip as he shows off his footwork while his face looks far from relaxed.

The dance is pretty brief and doesn’t have the longer films that many Beat Ya Feet dancers show.

One person who caught the clip of Justin dancing thought it bore a strong resemblance to a classic childhood dance.

‘Justin Timberlake said ‘DC stomped his feet’ and started doing the hokey pokey’, they joked.

One person who watched the clip said the Cry Me A River singer’s dance was ‘a cross between a black uncle at a barbecue and Irish dancing on the river’, adding, ‘and no, I won’t explain that further’.

Even the pop star’s outfit took a beating, with one tweet saying: ‘Justin Timberlake just got off work? Because the team is very IT expert.

He took a break to dance during what appeared to be an interlude in a performance of his 2006 single SexyBack.

According to KQED, Beat Ya Feet Dance originated with Marvin ‘Slush’ Taylor in DC around the late ’90s.

The dance reportedly evolved from the city’s go-go music, described as a ‘mixture of relaxed funk, gospel, jazz, call and response, and Afro-Caribbean beats’.
