JANUARY 2019: THE AGREEMENT BEGINS TO UNLEASH

The guardianship Britney was subjected to is typically used in situations where older people, perhaps senile, can no longer take care of their own affairs.
Fans are concerned for her well-being and have demanded that she be released from her father Jamie’s control.
It gives control to a nominated conservative for the best interest of the recipient, but in most cases, the recipient is not healthy enough to earn their own money, unlike Britney, who makes millions. Under probate guardianship rules, Jamie now has equal control over his property to a third party and an attorney, Andrew Wallet.
Wallet receives a salary of $426,000 a year from Britney’s estate.
He, Jamie and the recently hired third party can make deals on her behalf and restrict her visitors.

In an emotional statement, Britney told the court that she suffered psychologically for years as a result of the conservatorship which she said was so restrictive that she was not allowed to have the IUD removed.
JUNE 30, 2021 – JUDGE DENY BRITNEY’S REQUEST TO REMOVE JAMIE
Judge Brenda Penny, responding to Britney’s request in November 2020, refuses to remove Jamie from the deal.
She doesn’t say why, but invites her lawyer to file the paperwork to finish it, which he doesn’t.
JULY 1, 2021 – BESSEMER TRUST WAIVES AFTER BEING PLACED IN JAMIE’S LIABILITY
The day after the judge’s ruling, the Bessemer Trust, which had been hired, resigned, saying it never knew Britney wanted to end her trust.
In a lawsuit, the company’s lawyers said: ‘We listen to you and respect your wishes.’
JULY 5, 2021 – BRITNEY’S LONG TERM MANAGER QUITS
Larry Rudolph wrote a letter to Jamie and the guardianship saying he was no longer needed as Britney wanted to retire.

Jamie Spears filed court documents stating that he was leaving the agreement immediately, turning over all documents and seeking no financial benefit.
NOVEMBER 12, 2021 – JUDGE ENDS BRITNEY’S GUARDIANSHIP
A Los Angeles judge has ordered an end to the guardianship that controlled Britney’s life – and a $60 million fortune – for 13 years.
“The court finds that guardianship of the person and property of Britney Jean Spears is no longer necessary,” Judge Brenda Penny said at a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court – where Britney did not appear.
‘So as of today, guardianship is over.’
